Kim: I just don't think the open office is working for us, Mike... Mike: You don't? Kim: Nope. There's more interaction, as we'd hoped, but there's also a big drop in productivity. Not sure why we thought we'd be different. The research shows a lot of worker dissatisfaction with open-floor offices. Mike: Why? Kim: Well, for starters, almost half say that the lack of sound privacy is a huge problem for them. Mike: Almost half? Can that be true? Voice 1: Yeah, it's true. Voice 2: What is? Voice 1: What Kim said. Voice 3: Seems low. Voice 4: Yeah, more like 75%. Voice 5: 75% of what? Voice 6: You talking to me? Voice 7: Mind? I'm on the phone.
