Boy: Yes, I'd like to know why the GOP legislature banned pre-registration in high school. Don't you want us to vote? Negative Ned: Of course we do, son, but we want you to vote responsibly, just the way we'd want you to handle an assault rifle responsibly! The young have a tendency to make poor choices and vote for the wrong party. That's why the legislature wisely voted for a cooling-off period-- to allow extra time to mature!
