Mark: Ah, public radio... another day, another dime! Governor Romney, let's talk about your change of position on abortion... as I understand it, there was an epiphany of some sort... Mitt Romney: Yes. During a briefing I had about stem cells in 2004, I had an awakening. Mark: Then why did you restate your commitment to abortion rights six months after the briefing? Romney: Because it took awhile to sink in. Mark: So what you're saying is that at age 58, you slapped your forehead and said, "Gosh! It turns our I don't believe in a woman's right to choose!" With all respect, Governor, how shallow must your convictions be? Romney: 57, not 58. Which is young. McCain must be what, 85? Mark: Easily.
