Roland: I am touched, deeply touched, by this story... even as I report it. Zonker: Poor guy. Roland: A little girl's doll, broken and left in the mud, like so many promises made to this benighted state. Despite losses and devastation that far exceed those of red-state Mississippi, blue-state Louisiana has received comparably far less federal aid, revealing once again that ugly seam of politics, incompetence and racism that has marked this administration's response to Katrina! This is Roland Hedley! Voice: And... out! Good job, Rollie! Roland: Thanks, I can't tell anymore. This story has really got me by the epaulets. I feel forever changed by it. It's like I am the story and the story is me! Voice: Shake it off, Ace. By the way, who's that with you? Roland: My fiancee.
