We thought him ineffectual and out of touch, a caretaker president with no vision for the country. But what we overlooked at the time were his fine qualities, which we now see had had in abundance! To begin with, he didn't torture people. But he was also moderate, informed, prudent, responsible, forgiving and modest...everything, in fact, his son is not...for which the nation has paid a terrible price! George Bush: Not my fault! We were grooming Jeb! Mark: Oh, we know that, sir. No one's blaming you. Say, could we offer you a new icon? On the house?
