Feather / Quayle: I feel pretty, I feel pretty... I feel pretty and witty and not dumb! Mark: We're still chatting with underfunded G.O.P. candidate Dan Quayle, recently described by one party consultant as having a "snoball's chance in hell" of winning the nomination. Any comment, Mr. Ex-veep? Feather / Quayle: Yes - I like those odds. A snowball can be tough if it's packed really well so that it's a hard snowball. I've been there. I've been tested. I'm a tested snowball that's hard and been there. For instance, during the Philippines crisis, I sat at the end of the table where if a person is sitting there, it means they're in charge, and everyone else is not, meaning I've been there. I was also there when I took on "Murphy Brown" and when I'm elected, I'll be taking on the re-runs, which are as bad as the originals. How true that is! ...What are you doing? Mark: Writing a check. It'd be tragic to lose you. Feather / Quayle: Thanks - How sweet that is!
