Mark: Hmmm...should pick the responsible word here... I've got it - "rabid"! So to review: Clinton's sole transgression was perjury in a civil case - something rarely prosecuted since civil cases are by definition one person's word against another's! But Starr knew Clinton was in too much denial to back off the initial lie, so he simply heightened its seriousness by having him defend it before a grand jury. Thus did he criminalize Clinton's private behavior. And thus was his report transformed into personal payback for all the years he'd wasted failing to bring down a president he loathed! What's next for Starr? For once, he should do the honorable thing. Like the obsessed inspector in "Les Miserables." He should put on manacles and fling himself into a river! Chase: Nice recovery. You were starting to make sense. Mark: Thanks. I do try to stand out.
