Mark: Finally! A gun-related item the N.R.A. is opposed to... trigger locks! We're back and still talking to new N.R.A. chief Charlton Heston! Chuck, you were saying that our problem in America is not too many guns, but too few? Charlton Heston: That's right, Mark! To make our streets safe, we have to give criminals something to fear! That something is a well-armed public! Mark: I see. And how many guns do you own, Chuck? Charlton Heston: About a dozen. Mark: Okay, so if every adult in the country had as many guns as you, would that finally be enough to make our streets safe? Charlton Heston: Safe? Good question...let me do the math here... hmmm...2,400,000,000 guns. Yeah, that could do it... Mark: And people call you and extremist!
