Nguyen V. Phred: Hmmm...Michael's asian tour is shaping up nicely... I just hope I don't embarrass myself on the seventh hole. Okay, team, it's time we geared up for Michael Jordan's upcoming 1998 Asian Sweatshop tour! While we can't be certain that Mr. Jordan will pick Nike Assembly Plant #6, we have to prepare for the possibility! If he comes here, he can be expected to ask tough, pointed questions about our facility. We have to be ready for them! For example, why do we primarily hire teen-age girls and not their parents? Nike worker: Easy - young girls are non-disruptive, easily intimidated, won't organize, won't strike, and have no expectations about pay or working conditions. Nguyen V. Phred: Uh...well, yes, obviously, but why do we say we hire them? Nike worker: They smell good! Nguyen V. Phred: Hmmm...might work - Mr. Jordan's got his own fragrance.
