Reporters: You ask him. No, you. Rick: Okay, but you have to ask follow-up. Mark: I'll be right behind you. Roland: Me, too. Rick: Mr. Speaker, as you inch closer to a run at the presidency, your image as a champion of family values has come under severe attack... Not only does it appear you were a deadbeat dad, but now it seems you were routinely unfaithful to your first wife before leaving her... Bomb / Gingrich: Look, first off, all these accusations are coming from disgruntled campaign employees, disgruntled friends and disgruntled relatives... Secondly, I never said I was perfect. Who is, in this day and age? Phil Gramm left his first wife. Bob Dole left his. Same with Pete Wilson. Now, these men are all great Americasns. So what does that tell you? Maybe the problem isn't with us - maybe the problem is with first wives! Rick: All first wives? Bomb / Gingrich: They expect so much! Second wives are more realistic!
