Professor: I don't get it, sir. A student can sue over a low grade? President King: He's claiming discrimination against the "Greco-American Athletic Community." Professor: But that's preposterous! President King: Well, Deadman, your department made itself vulnerable with all the grade inflation. How could that happen with math, anyway? Professor: We dumbed down the tests, sir. Under student pressure. We traded learning for "success." At least some of us did! President King: Well, the customer is always right, eh, Deadman? Professor: Words to teach by, sir. President King: It's a different world, professor. Adapt or die.
