Mark: "It was Nancy who dictated the President's schedule, supervised his speeches, and controlled access." "When his aides presented him with a detailed agenda for his first meeting with Gorbachev, the President said, 'Have you shown this to Nancy?' 'No, sir.' 'Well get back to me after she's passed on it." "She instructed aides to prepare complete scripts. When he met with Robert Byrd and other Senators, his cue card read: (1) I want to thank you for your input. (2) Can you tell me more about your efforts? (3)God bless you all!"
