Person: Madison, your senate guarantees the collapse of the democratic spirit of the revolution! Person 2: The level spirit, you mean! Your house is a house of cards! Person: House of cards? Sir, I.... Man: Gentlemen! Create a house and a Senate. For crying out loud! They are not mutually exclusive instruments of governance! Person: What sort of terms of office? Man: Two and six years.
