Honey: Let's give it up, sir. There's no one else on this island. Duke: I guess you're right. At least I'm undisputed master. "It is now the 14th day since my purser and I were cruelly cast upon this godforsaken piece of rock. The wretchedness of our life here is unimaginable." Honey: I must say, sir, you've been conscientious about keeping your log since we arrived. Duke: I'm doing it for posterity, Honey. One day, history will demand a full accounting, a record of the extraordinary ordeal of the crew of the "rusty nail." Honey: That's very foresighted of you, sir. Duke: Well, writing also allows me to keep my sanity. It's part of surviving! Honey: What can I do, sir? I feel so useless. Duke: Well, this is a desert island. I could probably use a gal Friday. Honey: really? You want me to be your gal Friday? Duke: Sure. Honey: at the risk of sounding forward, sir, I'm free the whole week. Duke: Keep your shirt on, Honey. It's just an expression.
