Zeke: How do you think she'll take it, man? J.J: Oh, pretty well... Mom's made a lot of progress since she first met you. Mom, Zeke and I have something very important to tell you. Joanie: What is it, dear? J.J: Well, it has to do with our marriage plans... We've been giving it a lot of thought lately, about the timing and so forth, and we've come to a decision. We know you think we should wait, that marriage is a big commitment, and that we shouldn't rush into it the way you did. Well, we agree with you now. Joanie: You do? J.J: Yes. So we've decided to postpone the wedding until after we figure out what we're going to do with our lives. Joanie: Well, dear, I think that's very mature. Zeke: We're still going to go ahead with the kid, though. J.J: Right. While we're still young enough to enjoy him.
