Mike: Bernie, I hate to be negative, but these photos of Nessie don't exactly leave me reeling. Bernie: That's because you haven't seen the underwater sonar record! Look at these recent tracings, Mike! They show a 25 ft. object crossing the beam during the same time period those photos were obtained! Given this corroboration, science has no choice but to hypothesize the existence of a large, piscivorous aquatic animal! Mike: Can science be sure it's not a 25 ft. trout? Bernie: Reasonably. We know it won't take a dry fly.
