Mike: Good morning, reverend Sloan! Sloan: It certainly is, son! Can I lay some hot java on you? You know Michael, I think the new Jesus movement among the youth is a positive sign of moral re-awakening! Really, it's terrific! Mike: You think so? I don't agree, Reverend. I think man of the kids who are turning to the movement do so for the same reasons other kids turn to drugs. You see, both religion and drugs create states of mind which enable people to cope with their problems. They both offer a means of dealing with a bewildering and hostile world. As Freud used to put it, religion is basically a debate.. But... Then again who can say? It's just my opinion. I hope you don't think it too irreverent... Sloan: Where's the inquisition now that we need it?
