Edda says, "How do you suppose we'll know when we're ready to be married?" Amos says, "I suppose I'll hold you close to me and, brimming with love, say, 'Edda, will you marry me?'" Edda says, "And I suppose I'll look into your eyes and without a trace of doubt say, 'Yes.'" Amos says, "And I suppose we'll proceed to live together for an enormous number of years and make people feel romantic just to see us, and want to be married just like us in order to capture the happiness we will have known over all that time." Amos says, "Then I suppose we'll look back and know that on that day when you said 'Yes,' we were ready." Edda says, "But what if it turns out we weren't ready?" Amos says, "I'll console myself with your great legs."
