alice: Mom, my bedtime routine needs some changes. Mom: Yes it does! It's out of control! Mom: Every night's like a vaudeville show! We read, dance, do skits, play games, tell jokes, sing songs, then, at the end, you're still awake and wanting more! Alice: That's just it! It's a mass of novelty acts! there's no flow, no progress, no dramatic tension! alice: It needs a unifying theme! A title would help, so I though of one-duck you sleepyhead! A bedtime spectacle with fireworks. Alice: It'll depend on a constant supply of fireworks, shouldn't be hard with dill's brother so close- Mom: good night. click. Alice: hey! Alice: Aw, c'mon, mom! I'd be so over stimulated that I'd fall right to sleep! mom: Don't make me say goodnight again.
