Cathy: I want my hair cut off! Cut it all off! Man: Sorry. We instituted a mandatory ten-day waiting period after your perm incident in 1992. Cathy: Ten days?! I need it done now! Man: The perm incident was preceded by the "henna" fiasco, preceded by the "They-said-I'd-look-like-Katy-Ireland-if-I-had-bangs" lawsuit. No one in town will tought your hair without a ten-day wait and a notarized letter from a therapist. Cathy: Mother! Mom: The salon called, Dear. Dad's locked all the scissors in the fruit cellar.
