Thomas: Hey, Huey, wait up! Huey: Yes? Thomas: You would have been proud of me today. I said "off the hook" today during a meeting, and everyone thought I was just the hippest guy... Huey: Well, America's fascination with black youth culture is nothing new... and since "urban" marketing strategies have translated big dollars for a wide array of corporate entities, the language of hip-hop kids has achieved a new level of mainstream validation. Thomas: Well, give me something cool to say for tomorrow. Huey: Ummm... try, "off the heezy for sheezy." Thomas: But what the heck does that mean? Huey: Doesn't matter. The more confused they are, the more in touch with youth culture you seem... get lucky and you can end up a highly paid black culture translator for the caucasian majority, land a book deal, start a marketing company, etc... Thomas: Wow... sounds jiggy-fresh! Huey: Easy now... don't get ahead of yourself...
