The Born Loser by Art & Chip Sansom Ramona: It looks like you're all ready for Christmas, Gladys. The halls are decked and the stockings are hung by the chimney with care. Gladys: I bought a fun new advent calendar to help me keep track of the days. Gladys: Like a traditional advent calendar, it has twenty-five closed windows, numbered for each day from December first to Christmas, Gladys: Then each day in December, you open the correspondingly numbered window. Gladys: But what makes it so fun and unique is that behind each door is a chocolate to eat! Ramona: Oh, that sounds marvelous, Gladys! I'll have to get one next year. Gladys: The only problem is you need to have the willpower to limit yourself to one window per day - I reached Christmas last Monday!
