The Born Loser by Art & Chip Sansom Uncle Ted: Want to hear something amusing? Uncle Ted: When I was a kid, I wanted to be a cowboy. Ha! Later, I discovered I was scared to death of horses! Uncle Ted: As a child, did you aspire to be something when you grew up that you eventually learned was absurd? Brutus: Yeah, an NFL quarterback! Pretty crazy for someone who grew up to be five foot nine, two hundred fifty pounds, eh? Uncle Ted: Good one! Here's a hypothetical variation - if you could go back to your childhood... Uncle Ted: Knowing what you do now about yourself, what would you aspire to be when you grew up? Brutus: Sigh...anybody but myself!
