Born on April 30, 1985, in Petah Tikva, Israel, and raised in nearby Rosh Ha'ayn, Gal Gadot was 18 years old when she won the Miss Israel Beauty Pageant. Before going on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant in Ecuador, she then completed two years of mandatory service in the Israel Defense forces, deployed as a combat fitness instructor. She was studying Law and International Relations in College and doing some modeling when she was invited to audition for a role in the James Bond movie "Quantuim Solace" she didn't get the role but was soon appearing on the Israeli TV drama "Bubot" in 2009, she made her debut as Gisele Yashar in the first of three appearances to date in the "Fast and Furious" franchise. Minor movie parts followed, but she was on the verge of quitting Hollywood when she landed the life-changing role of Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe of movies. Having married an Israeli property developer she met during her army days, this mother of two is now a superstar and one of the highest-paid actresses in the world. Upcoming projects include a remake of the classic "Death on the Nile" the Netflix movie "Red Notice" with Dwayne Johnson, and the eagerly anticipated "Wonder Woman, in 1984"
