Born in Dallas, Texas, on September 16, 1992 Nicholas Jonas was a Broadway performer from the age of seven, appearing in productions of "A Christmas Carol," "Annie Get Your Gun" "Beauty and The Beast" and "Les Miserables." In 2003, "Joy To The World (A Christmas Prayer)" a song written by Nick and his Dad, was a hit on Christian radio in the U.S. this led to a major-label record deal, and the track along with the single "Dear God" was included on Nick's solo album. Impressed by the combination of Nick and his brothers Kevin and Joe, the label decided to sign the trio as a group act. The Jonas Brothers toured with the likes of Kelly Clarkson and The Veronicas. The debut single "Mandy" from the album "It's About Time" was released in late 2005 and later included on the album "Zoey 101: Music Mix" the boys also contributed songs to "Disneymania" and "The Little Mermaid" soundtrack as well as creating the theme song for the second season of Disney's American Dragon: Jake Long" A change of record labels saw their second album, "Jonas Brothers" soar into the top five in its first week of release, boosted by their appearance on the tv show "Hannah Montana." The next two albums- 2008 "A Little Bit Longer" and 2009's "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" topped the charts worldwide, and the brothers starred in the tv movie "Camp Rock" sequel... but the phenomenal success couldn't last. By 2010, the group was on hiatus. The brothers pursued solo projects beforereconvening in 2012- but the reunion was short-lived, and the group split in 2013. Joe formed the band DNCE and hit the pop charts with "Cake By The Ocean" Nick enjoyed chart success with the likes of "Jealous" and made inroads into a career in acting. Kevin threw himself into business ventures. In early 2019, they announced their comeback and enjoyed their first-ever No. 1 hit single with "Sucker." This summer seeks the mtour in support of the new album "Happiness Begins" and the release of the documentary "Chasing Happiness" on Amazon Prime.
