The son of Egyptian immigrants, Rami Malek was born in Los Angeles on May 12, 1981. Rami, who has a twin brother and an older sister, attended high school with actresses Rachel Bilson and Kristen Dunst. After graduating from the Indiana's University of Evansville with a B.A. in Fine Arts, he launched his acting career with a role on TV's "Gilmore Girls" his tv break came with the role of Kenny on the sitcom "Night At The Museum" a role he has reprised in two sequels.
