From a childhood TV star to boy band heartthrob and on to solo superstardom, Justin Timberlake has spent his life in the public eye. Occasionally, that gaze has been critical- most notably in 2004 when his super bowl duet with Janet Jackson produced an infamous "Wardrobe Malfunction." But Justin weathered the storm and remains one of the world's most popular stars! Justin Randall Timberlake was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on January 31 1981. Having appeared on the TV talent show "Star Search." He became a regular on "The Mickey Mouse Club" alongside such other future stars as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. At the age of 14, he teamed up with fellow Mouseketeer J.C. Chasez, as well as Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone, to form the boy band 'N Sync. They enjoyed early success in Europe before breaking into the U.S. market, by the time the album "No Strings Attached" was released in 2000, the boys were one of the hottest acts in the business. The album sold 2.4 million copies in it's first week of release. The 2001 follow-up "Celebrity," sold 1.9 million copies in it's first week. In 2002, with the band on Hiatus and his high-profile romance with Britney Speas over, Justin released his "Justified" solo album, which went on to sell 10 million copies worldwide and earned him two Grammys. His 2006 sophomore solo outing- "Futuresex/lovesounds" Debuted on top of the Billboard Charts and spawned the chart-topping hits "SexyBack" "My Love" and "What Goes Around, Comes Around." The album sold 10 million copies and brought him four Grammys. Having appeared in such gritty dramas as "Alpha Dog" and "Black Snake Moan" his subsequent acting credits included leading roles in "The Social Network" "Bad Teacher" and "Friends With Benefits" as well as voicing characters in "Shrek The Third," "Trolls" and more. His forays into late-night comedy have proved hugely popular- his appearances on "SNL" have attracted enormous view numbers online. In 2013, he returned ot music with his third and fourth albums "The 20/20 Experience" and "The 20/20 Experience- 2 of 2," Both which topped the charts. 2016s "Can't Stop The Feeling!" was his fifth-chart topping single. His fifth Studio album, 2018s "Man of the Woods" released two days before his super bowl LII halftime show- gave him his fourth U.S. No. 1 album. Winner of 10 Grammys 4 Emmys and 9 Billboard Music Awards to date, he is currently midway through a huge stadium tour. He married actress Jessica Biel in 2012, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2015.
