Camila Cabello was born in Cojimar, Eastern Havana, Cuba, on March 3, 1997. The family yo-yoed between Havana and Mexico City before settling in Miami, Florida when Camila was 5 years old. In 2012, she successfully auditioned for the second season of TV's singing competition show "The X Factor." Although she didn't progress beyond the early rounds. She was teamed up with fellow contestants Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui to form a quintet. Originally calling themselves 1432, they were renamed Fifth Harmony by the viewing public. After finishing third in the competition. They were signed to a record deal by show judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid. The group enjoyed two top 10 albums, hit singles such as the multi-platinum "Worth It" and a string of successful tour dates, during which time it became apparent that Camilla was destined for even greater heights. On the heels of her top 5 hit collaboration wiht Machine Gun Kelly on "Bad Things" it was confirmed that Camilla had parted ways wiht Fifth Harmony. Buoyed by the chart-topping global success of her single "Havana." Her solo album "Camila" debuted at the top of the U.S. album charts. Camila will tour with Taylor Swift throughout most of 2018
