Born in Whitteier, California, on March 27, 1975, Stacy Ann Ferguson was a child actres, starring on the "Kids Incorporated" tv show for five years. As well as providing the voice for the Sally Brown character on "Peanuts" animated tv specials. In her teens, she appeared on such shows as "Married With Children" and "California Dreams" and she formed the pop trio Wild Orchid. The group's self-titled debut album hit the top five of the U.S. album charts, spawning the hit single "Talk To Me." They toured with 98 Degrees and 'N Sync, and they hosted the Saturday morning tv show "Great Pretenders." After the group disbanded in 2001, Stacy, by now billed simply as Fergie, joined The Black Eyed Peas. 2003's "Elephunk" album, the first to feature Fergie, gave The Black Eyed Peas their multiplatinum breakthrough! It spawned a string of hits- "Where Is The Love?" topped the charts in 13 countries, and the anthemic "Let's Get It Started" won a grammy. They went on to put out three more platinum-selling albums- "Monkey Business" "The End" and "The Beginning" and win five more Grammys. In 2009, the group simultaneously held the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the billboard hot 100 with their singles "Boom Boom Pow" and "I Gotta Feeling." In 2011, The Black Eyed Peas performed in the Super Bowl halftime show before going on Hiatus. Having returned to acting with a role in the movie "Poseidon" Fergie also embarked on her first solo outing in 2006, her album "The Dutchess" yielding three chart-topping singles "London Bridge" "Glamorous" and "Big Girls Don't Cry." Her second album, "Double Dutchess" was released in 2017, the same year she separated from her husband, TV star Josh Duhamel, they have one son, born in 2013. Fergie's most recent projects have seen her appear on two different TV talent shows at more or less the same time! One week after "The Four: Battle For Stardom" with judges, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Meghan Trainor, DJ Khalded and Charlie Walk premiered on Fox, Canada's CTV debuted the six-part miniseries "The Launch"
