Panic! At the Disco Having heard Panic! At the Disco's demos online, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz signed the band to his Decadance label, an imprint of Fueled by Ramen, even though the Las Vegas teens had never once performed in public! The group's debut album "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," was released in 2005. The single "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" became a huge hit, thanks in no small part to the circus-themed video, which became one of the internet's most popular. It beat out the likes of Christina Aguilera to win the MTV video of the year award. "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" was certified double platinum in the U.S. The group's rise to fame was meteoric- but with success came internal friction. The band parted company with Bassist Brent Wilson in 2006. He was replaced by Jon Walker. By the time they released the album "Pretty Odd" in 2008, they briefly dropped the exclamation point from the group's name. In 2009, it was announced that Ryan Ross and Jon Walker were leaving the group, and Brendon Urie and Spencer Smith would continue as a duo. Ross and Walker formed the band The Young Veins. Touring bassist Dallon Weekes joined the lineup as a full-time member for 2011's album "Vices and Virtues" the trip recorded the band's fourth album "Too Weird To Live, Too Rare to Die" but that was Smith's last involvement with the group. In 2015, Weekes reverted to being a touring member, leaving Brendon Urie as the sole official member. In 2016 "Death of a Bachelor" debuted at the top of the U.S. charts, giving Panic! At the Disco their first No. 1 album!
