Emma Stone Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6, 1988, Emma Stone made her acting debut at the age of 11, playing Otter in a production of "The Wind In The Willows" she continued to act throughout her early teens and at 15 moved with her mother to Los Angeles to pursue her career. TV work was followed by her movie debut, opposite Michael Cera and Jonah Hill, in 2007's "Superbad" Subsequent credits included "The Rocker" and "The House Bunny" and roles that ranged from the gun-toting Wichita in "Zombieland" to the voice of Mazie the Australian Shepherd in "Marmaduke" a movie based on the long-running comic strip. The 2010 teen comedy "Easy A" earned Emma a golden globe nomination. In 2011, she appeared in "Friends With Benefits" "Crazy Stupid Love" and "The Help." In 2012, she starred as Gwen Stacy, opposite Andrew Garfield, in the box-office hit "The Amazing Spider-Man" a role she reprised two years later in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" by which time she had added "Gangster Squad," "Movie 43" and "The Croods" to her credits/ Woody Allen's "Magic In The Moonlight was followed by Alejandro Inarritu's "Birdman" which earned her Oscar and Golden Globe Nominations. In late 2004, Emma followed Michelle Williams in the role of Sally Bowles in a Broadway revival of the musical "Cabaret" she starred as an Asian-American pilot in 2015's "Aloha" a movie that was dogged by controversy for its casting choices, and appeared in another Woody Allen movie "Irrational Man." Her latest movie, "La La Land" has wowed the critics and brought Emma extensive awards acclaim, including a Golden Globe for best actress- motion picture comedy or musical.
