Jeffrey Dean Morgan Born in Seattle, Washington, on April 22, 1966, Jeffrey Dean Morgan played basketball in High School and college until he was sidelined by a knee injury. He went on to work as a graphic artist until a chance to encounter with a casting director in Los Angeles changed his life. The director convinced him to audition for the role of Sharkey the killer pimp in the 1991 Roger Corman thriller "Uncaged" he landed the part, and his acting career was launched! Over the next 15 years, he racked up extensive tv credits, including roles on "ER" "Walker, Texas Ranger" "Jag" "Star Trek: Enterprise," "Weeds" and "Supernatural" Jeffrey credits his stint as heart transplant patient Denny Duquette on "Grey's Anatomy" to the next level. He starred as The Comedian in 2009's "Watchmen" and had major roles in the likes of "The Losers" "Taking Woodstock" "The Resident" and "Red Dawn" TV work included "Magic City" and a portrayal of Joe Dimaggio in "The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe." Having wooed legions of female fans as private investigator Jason Crouse on "The Good Wife" he has now staked out a claim as one of the most despicable TV villains of all time with his portrayal of the sadistic began on the phenomenally successful tv series "The Walking Dead."
