He has portrayed everything from a Vampire to a mountaineer, from a CIA spy to a mythical greek warrior, in glittering career that has so far won him a Golden Globe and earned him Oscar and Emmy nominations. He regularly tops the list of the most handsome men in Hollywood, and he has shared his life with some of the most beautiful actresses in movie history. No wonder Dustin Hoffman once said of Brad Pitt: "Next to that kid, we all look like onions." William Bradley Pitt was born in Shawnee Oklahoma, on December 18, 1963. Raised in Springfield, Missouri, he attended Kickapoo High, where he was a member of the golf, tennis, and swim teams. He dropped out of the University of Missouri to try his luck at an acting career arriving in Hollywood with just $325 in his pocket, he took a succession of odd jobs to support himself, including a stint in a giant chicken outfit, standing on Sunset boulevard in 100-degree temperatures to promote a fast-food chain! Fortunately, he soon began to get acting roles, appearing in sitcoms and on the long-running soap "Another World" and landing a part on the hit drama "Dallas" His breakthrough came with a supporting role in the movie "Thelma & Louise" suddenly, Brad was a hot property, and a succession of movies- including "A River Runs Through It" "Interview With the Vampire" "Legends Of the Fall" and "Seven" made him a star, he won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar for his role in "12 Monkeys." By the late 1990s, he was earning $17.5 million a movie to star in "Meet Joe Black" and "Fight Club." His presence at the head of a stellar ensemble cast helped make "Ocean's Eleven" and its sequels major hits. Other Blockbusters ranged from the epic "Troy" to 2005's "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" the movie that spelled the end of his four-year marriage to "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston and the start of his relationship with Angelina Jolie, with whom he now has a family of six children. The couple who married in 2014, recently announced their separation. He received his second and third Oscar nominations for his leading performances in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and "Moneyball." This star of "Inglorious Basterds" "World War Z" and "Fury" has also produced a number of movies, including "12 Years A Slave" which won the best picture Oscar his latest movie is the romantic thriller "Allied" co-starring Marion Cotillard.
