Born in to the British aristocracy in London on December 26, 1986, Christopher Catesby "Kit" Harington is a descendant of King Charles II of England. A graduate of London's Central School of speech and drama, he first made his mark with his portrayal of Albert in the Oliver Theatre's adaptation of "War Horse." After appearing in the play "Posh" the Royal Court Theatre, he landed his first TV role when he was cast as Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones" debuting in 2011, the show became an immediate global sensation and has gone on to win huge critical acclaim and awards recognition. The first four seasons have seen kit's role expand and his Jon Snow become one of the central characters. Away from "Game Of Thrones" Kit followed his cinematic debut in "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D" with the lead in 2014's "Pompeii" and voiced Eret in "How To Train Your Dragon 2" Other projects include the upcoming spy drama "Spooks: The Greater Good." Meanwhile, the worldwide army of "Game Of Thrones" fans wits to see what season five holds for Jon Snow.
