Jonah Hill Feldstein was born in Los Angeles on December 29, 1983. The son of a costume designer mother and dad who worked as a tour accountant for Guns N' Roses, Jonah began writing and performing plays while at college in New York. Befriended by Dustin Hoffman's children, he was invited to audition by the Oscar-winning actor and landed his screen debut in 2004's "I Heart Huckabees" A small role in Judd Apatow's directorial debut, "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" was followed by roles in a series of comedies, including Apatow's "Knocked Up" their association continued with a number of movies from Jonah's breakthrough role, oppostie Michael Cera, in the 2007 box-office smash "Superbad" through the likes of "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Funny Russel Brand in 2010's "Get Him to The Greek" Having enhanced his comedy credentials in animated hits such as "How to Train Your Dragon" and "Megamind" Jonah proved equally adept at more dramatic fare, earning a slew of awards nominations, including Oscar and Golden Globe nods, for his role opposite Brad Pitt in "Moneyball" Although he is now firmly established as a writer director and producer through various TV and movie projects, he is still first and foremost, a comedy star... as evidenced by his big-star... as evidenced by his bigscreen remake of TVs and "21 Jump Street" and his latest starring role in the sci-fi comedy "The Watch" opposite Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn.
