Ludacris Born Christopher Brian Bridges in Champaign, Illinois, on September 11, 1977, Ludacris got his start as an intern on Hot 97, an urban radio station in Atlanta, Georgia. Eventually deejaying there as Chris Lova Lova. After making his recording debut on "Phat Rabbit" a track on Timbland's 1998 album "Tim's Bio: Life from Da Bassment" he released his own album "Incognegro" independently in 1999, the same year that he recorded the theme to the videogame "Madden NFL 2000." His major label release, 2000's "Back for The First Time," began a string of five multi-platinum albums- The last three of which have topped the album charts- that have made Ludacris one of hip-hop's hottest properties. He won his first Grammy with Usher and Lil Jon. He continues to act as CEO of Disturbing Tha Peace, the label he founded to release his debut album. Meanwhile, he has also established himself as an accomplished actor, starring in the movies "2 Fast 2 Furious" "Crash" and "Hustle & Flow"
