Hammie and Me Wherever I am, there's always him, but we all just call him Hammie. Whatever I do, he wants to, too. Even when I tell him to scrammie. Where are you going? What should we do? He wants to know one or the other. Leave me alone, I wearily grown. It ain't easy having a brother. He wants to play trucks or cars or trains (it is constantly something with wheels). He won't dress up with me anymore even though he looks great in high heels. One time grape juice got spilled on the couch, when mom saw it I knew she would snap. I had no doubt I get a timeout, but heroically, Ham took the rap. So wherever I am, there's always Ham, and sometimes I think I might smother but ornery stinky and clingy aside, there worse things than having a brother.
