Ms. Dewalt says, "Did there seem to be anything wrong with Dr. Bronson when he was at your party?" Alley says, "No… But…." Ms. Dewalt says, "But?! But what?!" Alley says, "We did have a pretty significant incident with the present Amos gave me, but he was already back home by then... or so I thought!" Alley says, "I didn't tell you th' gift Amos gave me was Hippolyta's Belt..." Alley says, "...An' after that, somebody sent me this threat about the belt!" Ms. Dewalt says, "Oh my!" Ms. Dewalt says, "Hippolyta's belt? Surely it was a replica!" Alley says, "That's what Amos thought... but as it turned out, I don't think there's any doubt that it's the real thing!" Alley says, "An' I think someone's after it! I'm afraid Amos' disappearance might be related!"
